View Full Version : Densities on x-ray

My 7-year-old daughter had an abdominal x-ray on Friday to check for constipation. Her doctor called and said that 2 densities showed up on one of her kidneys. She told me that it could be kidney stones or "debris???" from something she ate that isn't food (can that really happen in a kidney?), but she wants to get an ultrasound of her kidney. My daughter doesn't have any pain or any other symptoms. Could this possibly be a tumor? I know renal cell carcinoma is rare in children, but i was wondering if this is a possibility. Thank you.
