About 3 weeks ago, I started to notice that my son's nails on left middle and ring fingers stop growing. Normal people's nail tip should be like the mouth of a sad face, but these two nails are like happy face now( I hope this description make sense). The flesh under at the finger tips are growing higher than the nails. The other fingers are fine now, but are slow growing. He has been healthy so far. No high fever recently. Anyone has idea what this is?
Thanks!!

I am assuming that the natural smile line at the free edge is turning into a frown. Could be a yeast infection in those nails - any change in the nail plate is cause for concern so I would suggest taking him to his doctor for a diagnosis.
