I love the Therma Care heat wraps for my neck. Unfortunately my mild latex allergy has just reared its ugly head and I'm having a nasty reaction to the adhesive.
I know about rice bags for moist heat, but we don't currently have one. I'm planning to make one as soon as I can get some fabric. Any other suggestions?

Put the rice in a sock!
Then tie the sock (with itself) at the end.
Make sure the sock doesn't have anything decorative on it that would be an issue for the microwave.

Or take a washrag and sew up three sides, fill with rice, then baste it shut.
