Has Lyrica caused anyone else's feet to swell?
I've put in a call to my doctor to make sure everything's okay. I'm starting to think that maybe Lyrica isn't for me...I really wanted it to work, but my feet are swelling, I'm getting terrible headaches, I'm slurring my speech (not while on pain medicine), and my memory is non existent. I'm not sure what to do right now. My blood tests came back a little weird. My antiphospholiptic antibodies were high and now with the swelling feet...I'm just not sure that's a good combination. Any advice or experiences with this???

call your pharmacy. they know more about side affects than doctors do. my doc wont give it to me because she says not enough is known yet about side affects. she is very cautious with new drugs. i like that.
stay away from salt for now and get your feet elevated. hope your doc calls soon.
peace,

Yes, it can cause feet to swell. My mom has that problem, but for her the pain relief outweighs the side effects.
If the side effects are too much, don't be afraid to stop taking it. Blue is right, it's still a new drug so not all the side effects have been found yet. For some people it's a miracle drug. For others it just makes things worse. Part of being human.
