I have had bad sinus for nearly a year and also have total blockage in one nostril caused by polyps. This causes post nasal drip.
For the past 3 days, I have been getting stabbing pains in my chest that jump from one place to another every few hours. It is mostly under my left breast or under my left shoulder blade and sometimes in the front center.
No fever or coughing.

Have you ever been treated for acid reflux? It can cause some pains in your chest/throat and is commonly linked to sinus inflammation and post-nasal drip.

By the way, are you doing anything to treat the polyps? They're not going to go away on their own.

Antibiotics have not helped. been using steroid spray for 3 months.
Today the chest pain has gone but exrutiating pain on right side of abdomen under ribs. More towards the back. It's that stitch pain one gets after running too much as a kid.
Will have to wait till monday to go to Doc.

I dont mean to scare you but make sure you demand a sinus culture and a ct scan of your lungs.I had the same symptoms and have a fungal infection in my lungs and sinuses. antibiotics only make it worse. you may need an anti fungal. Better to be safe than sorry right?
