Sponsor ellemae11 02-25-2008, 03:09 PM I believe you are allowed to take the exam. Years ago the Navy and Air Force were allowed to take the exam but the Army was not. That has now changed and as far as I know all three are now recognized x-ray schools and allowed to take the registry exam. TPB 05-26-2008, 01:06 PM You will be able to take the ARRT exam after passing the AF Quality Control (QC) exam and passing the end-of-course test for your Career Development Courses (CDC). I retired last year as an AF radiology tech for nearly 20 year. It's a GREAT career field in the AF, but I will warn you that the field is quite flooded in the civilian world. Make sure that in your AF career that you take advantage of the GI Bill, and tuition assistance. You'll be very thankful for all the training you can get while on active dut. I hope this helps!!!! |
