In 2005 I had surg to free up my Peroneal Nerve. It was trapped right above the outside of my right ankle.Since the surgery I have not regained any feeling in the toes top of foot or side of the leg.Now within the last 3 months the numb feeling has gone up to my knee and underneath the foot. My Ortho suspects that I have an Entrapment behind my knee by the top of the fibula bone. He has ordered an EMG to clarify that. My Question is if that does turn out to be the issue and again recommends surgery how long is the recover time for the surgery? TIA

Sorry but i cannot answer your question, but could i ask you one.
I may have a trapped nerve in my leg, just by my left ankle, i am sick of no one knowing what is wrong with my leg.
What were your symptoms!

Thank you
