Namibia 02-25-2008, 05:09 AM I had my trigger shot on Monday last week and DH and I BD on Monday and Tuesday. This morning I woke up and went to the loo as I wiped I saw some blood it is not as much as AF but it is still there slightly. I am now 7dpo and 8dptrigger is it implantation bleeding or AF? Is it not to early for AF? I am praying that it is Implataion bleeding. Has anyone experience ths before and if so how long do you bleed for? I am so confused. I also have mild AF like cramping. Any info will be greatly appeciated.
Thanks
Charlene
Mapia74 02-25-2008, 05:51 AM Hi Charlene I would defently say its to early for AF.If you are 7 or 8 dpo then more then likely its implantation spotting. It can last a day or so from what I have heard.Things look good my friend.Lets us know how things are.Have a nice afternoon.
Mapia
Namibia 02-25-2008, 06:49 AM Thanks Mapia I hope you are right and it is too early for AF and it is in fact implantation.
I just went to the loo again and when i wiped a 'membrane' type clot was on the paper (sorry TMI) does anyone know what that could be?
Charlene
Phillypainter 02-25-2008, 07:35 AM Oh Charlene, I hope so much that it is Implantation. Was it a brownish color? I'm really not sure about the clot though. I would call the RE's office. Sorry I couldn't be of better help. We are cycle sisters and I would love more than anything to have a baby the same day as you!
Jennifer
Namibia 02-25-2008, 09:00 AM Jennifer,
I am also hoping that it is implantation, but the clot worries me and it seem like the bleeding is increasing but still not the flow of AF. The clot was bright red but the other blood is sometimes brown and sometimes red. I am really not sure what to think. I spoke to my RE in Johannesburg this morning and he said that he keeping his fingers crossed that it is implantation, but he also said it could be AF as well so I am really confused:confused::confused:.
I would also love for us to be pg together and have our babies at the same time......I am trying to be as positive as I can. I took my temp at luch time just to see what was going on and it was at 37.3 C or 99 F which is pretty high but it is not accurate because of the time of day. I think I need to take it easy the next couple of day incase it is implatation. If I am still bleeding by tomorrow I will call my Gyn here to find out what is going on.
Love
Charlene

PrincessSweetNS 02-25-2008, 10:08 AM I wish I could answer your question. It seems like it's a common concern though, since I looked it up and a lot of people ask that question, if a clot is normal with implantation. I'm sure it would be. I hope that the bleeding stops really soon and we can be super sure it's implantation. I'm praying for you Char! :D
Namibia 02-25-2008, 10:26 AM Princess I am also hoping the the bleeding will disapear and that implantion has taken place. Thanks for you prayers i need them right now.
I hope you have a wonderful day
Love
Char
PrincessSweetNS 02-25-2008, 10:50 AM Hi Char, dearest, you are always in my prayers, but I'll say an extra word for you. IF women, boyyy, we not only suffer to get that BFP, but we always have to worry about everything leading up to that BFP, and everythign happens after that BFP. We are going to be the most overprotective mothers ever!!! :D LOL. But seriously, I am so hoping that this is a sign of a healthy BFP for you, dearest.
Love, Geneviève-Angélique
kjmrfld 02-25-2008, 11:01 AM Char,
I am really hoping that the bleeding tapers off quickly and that it is implantation bleeding!! I will be thinking of you! It really isn't fair that we end up having to worry about all of these things!!
I hope that you are feeling well, and that your day is going well. Hang in there!!!
Love,
Kel
Kari15 02-25-2008, 03:25 PM Oh Charlene, sweetie, I feel for you right now I really do. Of course my prayers and hopes are that this is implantation. It sure seems like it'd be the perfect timing for it given that most ;) embryos implant 6-8 days past fertilization. And it really does seem too soon for AF. Keep us posted and I'll keep you in my prayers.
Namibia 02-26-2008, 08:19 AM I am now just spotting and only if I do something with fast movements, like walking too fast or running or being a bit active so I think I need to take it easy the next couple of days.
I left a message with my gyn this morning and the nurse called me back and told me that the doctor said that it is nothing to worry about and I must just go for my blood work as planned
Kel you are right about it not being fair that we have to worry about every little thing that happens in our cycles.
Princess I think we are going to be very protective mommies because of what we have been through to get our miracles.
Kari Thanks for all your prayers and encouraging words. I will definatley keep you updated.
I hope you have a wonderful day
Char
kjmrfld 02-26-2008, 08:57 AM Char,
I'm glad to hear that there isn't much bleeding at all, although I know it's next to impossible not to worry. I hope that you are feeling well today, and I hope that the last few days until your bloodwork go by quickly and easily!! Don't work too hard today!!
Love,
Kel
Namibia 02-26-2008, 09:20 AM Kel I am feeling a bit better today but I think the next few days are going to be hell for me with having to wait till Friday for my b/w. I will have to try and keep myself busy. My sister has gone home today and she took my mind off the 2ww so now I need to find something else to distract me.
Why does everything have to be such a struggle....
Love
Char
kjmrfld 02-26-2008, 09:41 AM I know - it's so unfair that all of this waiting and worrying has to be a part of this. I'm glad that your sister was there to keep you company for most of the wait. We'll all be here to try to keep you sane during the next few days. Friday is just 3 days away (I know, though how even the last few days can be so tough). I read on the other thread that you bought a HPT. Will you wait until Thursday night?
Hang in there, my friend!!
Love,
Kel
Kari15 02-26-2008, 10:05 AM Oh Charlene, I know how far off even tomorrow seems, I can imagine how u feel about waiting for Friday!!!! I'm glad to hear you will take it easy as much as possible between now and then. Do you have some help at the salon? I imagine you have flexibility with rescheduling appts right? Oh sweetie I hope your body got all warmed up last cycle and this one will be a stcky bfp for you!!!!
Namibia 02-26-2008, 10:32 AM Kel, I will definatley hold out till Thurday at least as I think if I test before it might still be the trigger shot in my system, by Thurs it should be all gone. I will definantly be turning to all you you to keep me sane over the next few days:D.
Kari I do have help in the salon now my therapist started 1st Feb so I can rearrange my day to suit me.
I just do not understand why we cannot just be pg without complications after all we have been through. Why must we still ride the IF / PG rollercoster
Love
Char
TryN2BMommy 02-26-2008, 03:45 PM Hi Charlene,
I just wanted you to know that while I haven't been able to post much, I have been thinking of you. I hope the spotting was implantation & that you will be getting your bfp soon!!!!! Sending you lots of love & positive vibes.
Holly
Phillypainter 02-26-2008, 04:41 PM Charlene, It sounds like you are on your way to a BFP. I don't have any signs at all so I am getting a little nervous. It the first time in my life I'd wanted to jump on the bandwagon too with all these BFP's around here. I have happy for everyone!
Jennifer
Mapia74 02-26-2008, 06:19 PM Hey Charlene wanted to check in on you my friend.I know the 2ww is just hell.Hang in there you are almost there my friend.I just pray that was your embie implanting.Good luck to you my friend.Hope you have a nice evening and a great day tomorrow.
Love,
Mapia
Kari15 02-26-2008, 09:27 PM Char, just a few more days and hopefully we will be celebrating your BFP! Thinking of you!
Hazel 74 02-26-2008, 10:34 PM Char, few more days to go!!! hang in there my dear... thinking of you!
cashahn 02-27-2008, 01:26 AM Hi Char I too hope it was implantation bleeding and wish you all the best for Fri's B/W and for Thurs if you decide to HPT. Cant wait to see you posting your BFP. Sticky Babydust.
Cashahn xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Namibia 02-27-2008, 07:18 AM Jennifer I feel exactly the same way....but with all the BFP lately maybe it is good luck for all us too. I really hope so.:D.
Thanks girls for all the encouragement.
I had a little blood on the tp this morning when I wiped, but nothig since then I am really hoping that it was implantation. We will know on Friday. I want to HPT tomorrow but I am scared that it will be a BFN:(, so maybe I will hold out till my beta numbers and if it is BFP then I will HPT so I can see the two lines for myself.......I know I sound crazy.
I hate the 2ww with a passion, but unfortunatley we all have to go through it.
I hope you all have a wonderful day
Love
Char
kjmrfld 02-27-2008, 11:03 AM Charlene,
Sounds like it could be implantation bleeding since there was nothing after this morning! I know the struggle to HPT or not to HPT is such a tough one. I really am hoping that this is it for you, regardless of what you decide to do. I will be thinking of you nonstop these next couple days!! Have you been keeping busy?
Love,
Kelley
Namibia 02-27-2008, 01:04 PM Kel, I have been rather busy today it is just nice to sit with my feet up now and relax. I am also going to climb into bed early tonight and get a good nights rest. I really hope it was implantation bleeding, I cannot think what else it could be........Keep fingers crossed.
Only two days to got to Beta. I am still deciding if I should HPT or not.
I hope you have a wonderful day.
Love
Char
kjmrfld 02-27-2008, 02:47 PM A good night's sleep sounds like a great idea! I hope everything is working out at work now (did you get rid of that one therapist? if not is everything working out with her? sorry if you've let us know and I missed that).
I gave in in all but once cycle and HPT'd so I know it's a really tough call. The one time I didn't it was just because I didn't have one in the house, or I'm sure I would have then too. Whatever you decide, I really am hoping that your beta Friday comes back positive and super high!
Have a great night!
Love,
Kel
PrincessSweetNS 02-27-2008, 02:49 PM Oh Char, I just have to say, it really does sound like implantation bleeding. I'm really excited for you!! I know it's tough decision abotu hpt. I'm always hesitant about testing, so I can't really offer you advice, since it's probably be tinged with my own fears. But you know what, I have a really super good feeling about this! I really thing that this is the one, Char!! Whichever you do, good luck and know that I am thinking of you!
Mapia74 02-27-2008, 03:36 PM Hi Charlene well one more day my friend.I am glad you were able to sit back and relax a bit today and hope you get a good nights sleep.Well I will be praying for you my friend I just hope you can add to there BFP's.Feb was a hot month maybe I should have had my IUI this month as well.:DWell have a great night and a wonderful day tomorrow.
Love ya,
Mapia
Kari15 02-27-2008, 04:07 PM Hi Charlene. I'm not sure whether you have decided to HPT tomorrow morning or not, but I know you are much closer to tomorrow morning than I am, so I want to make sure you know I'm thinking of you and hoping that if you do HPT you get that beautiful positive result! And don't forget.... Sarah got a BFP and she was spotting 10days after her IUI. Your spotting this morning could still be a possible sign that a beanie implanted. Good luck and keep us posted!
Namibia 02-28-2008, 02:04 AM Girls I gave in and HPT this morning and it was BFN......but I am not taking any notice of the test because I have had unreliable results before. I have had a false positve and a false negative. My theory is that yesterday I still had some spotting so it means that hopefully my beanie was snuggling in and it is too soon for the HPT to pick up the hormone. My best bet will be to wait for the b/w. With my last pg I tested on cd 25,28,30 all BFN and on cd 34 BFP. I am only cd 24 today. I am not giving up hope. My boobs are so sore right now so I am taking that as a good sign.
Kel I did not get rid of my therapist but I did give her a goood talking to about how I cannot afford for her to booked off for a sore foot. I told her to take some pain pil and be at work. I know I might have been a bit harsh but that is how I feel about the whole situation.
Mapia....LOL:jester: Feb has been a good month for BFP's on the board. I know that when you are ready for your IUI you will get your BFP.
Kari I re-read Sarah's post and it has given me hope that it is implantation and that I will get my BFP. Thnaks for keeping me in your thoughts even after you have had such a tough week. I really appreciate it.
Princess I am very weaak when it comes to HPT even thought I know that they are unreliable.
Only one more day till Beta......I hate waiting.
Love you all
Char
Hazel 74 02-28-2008, 06:59 AM Char, dearest... I agree with you that HPTs can be so annoying and confusing... thinking of you and wishing you the very best for your beta... will be waiting for your news...
Charlene, good luck tomorrow to your Beta test. I too think that it is implantation bleeding, its too early to be anything else. Your numbers must be still pretty low if HPT didnt pick it, but blood test will confirm your BFP tomorrow. :)
Hugs and baby dust,
Mady
kjmrfld 02-28-2008, 09:08 AM Charlene,
I'll be counting down the hours till tomorrow for your beta!!!! I think we've all seen lots of instances on the board where people have had false results on the HPTs, so I am really hoping that tomorrow will bring some great news. I will be thinking of you!!!!
Love,
Kel
TryN2BMommy 02-28-2008, 09:48 AM Hi Charlene! I think your reasoning on the hpt makes sense & I'm glad you're not giving up hope. Those things are so unreliable! Good luck w/ beta tomorrow. I'm keeping everything crossed for you & saying lots of prayers. Hoping for good news, my friend!
Holly
Namibia 02-28-2008, 11:04 AM Thanks ladies forthe reassurance about the HPT. I really do think they are very unreliable. I only have a about 14 hours till my b/w and I should get the results before 1pm. I stil think my sore boobs are a good sign.
I spent most of the day sorting out my house and rearanging the rooms. I had my mom helping me and eveytime I wanted to move anything my mom would freak out and say stop that you don't want to jeaprodise your situation. She was so sweet, so she moved all the furniture around for me, I just gave the orders.
I will definatley keep you posted as soon as I get my results.
Love
Char
douglasap8 02-28-2008, 11:40 AM Charlene, I think this spotting sure is a good sign. And I wouldn't trust those hpts...especially since you've had wrong results in the past. I think you're going to get a BFP with your BETA tomorrow and I can't wait to hear about it! Hope you have a good evening (it's night there isn't it???). Good luck tomorrow! - April
kjmrfld 02-28-2008, 11:43 AM That was really sweet of your mom :)! I'm glad you didn't overdo it moving things around.
Yay - I forgot, you are ahead of me timewise, so tomorrow will be here even sooner than I was thinking! I'll be checking in all morning!
Love,
Kel
Namibia 02-28-2008, 11:58 AM Kel, my mom would not let me move a thing. I felt so helpless:D.
April yes it is night here it is almost 7pm. Almost time for all my favoritve tv programmes. Tonight is Private Practice season 1 and the desperate housewives season 4. I am going to be a real couch potato.
Love
Char
Kari15 02-28-2008, 12:07 PM Oh Char, you have got the perfect attitude going on! Those HPT's are totally unreliable. Look at me and Bee's! We both ended up getting positive Beta's after neg HPT's and you my friend, well you HPT'd on CD 24!!!! That is definitely so early. I feel like the symptoms are promising and I can not wait to hear about the beta results! Good luck!!!
Namibia 02-28-2008, 01:02 PM Kari I also think cd 24 is way too early, that is why I am not paying any attention to the HPT.
I have a funny feeling in my stomach I think it is just nerves. Tomorrow could not come soon enough.
Kari15 02-28-2008, 03:46 PM Well tomorrow is getting closer my the minute :D I know that nervous feeling you describe. It's almost undescribable. Hang in there girlie... BFP is coming soon!
rubynz 02-28-2008, 04:02 PM Hey Charlene
How are you my cycle sister? I'm sorry that you are feeling so nervous although it is totally understandable. Good luck for your beta - sending loads of love and babydust to you!
Ruby
Mapia74 02-28-2008, 05:06 PM Hi Charlene just wanted to wish you luck tomorrow I am glad you are paying no mind to that HPT.It also seems like we are on the same time zone.I knew we were close in time but since you said its almost 7 pm when it was 12 pm eastern standard time that puts us in the same time zone.Cool :D.Ok anyway GOOD LUCK my friend hope to be hearing some good news from you tomorrow.Have a nice evening.
Love ya,
Mapia
cashahn 02-28-2008, 07:09 PM Char good luck with your beta, cant wait to see the results and hope to see you posting your BFP. Sticky babydust.
