I've been suffering for over 2 years straight. One ear of mine has constant tinnitus. It is a muffled sound, almost like I'm underwater. The tinnitus intensity changes often, and I have no idea why. This problem is accompanied by sinus pressure - I'm always feeling like I just stepped off an airplane.
I've been to the doctor several times and he admits he can't find anything wrong with me. I had an MRI that revealed nothing. He said tinnitus is common and I have to learn to live with it. I can't accept this. This is affecting my work, I'm nearly deaf in my one ear now.
My doc has prescribed several steroids to help alleviate the pressure but nothing has helped.
Please offer some advice if you can, this is affecting my sanity. Thanks.
