Hi, Miah
I was diagnosed about 20 years ago. It was about 3 years after I had my daughter. We were not going to be trying for another right then ,but I too, was worried. My OB/GYN assured me that if I did wish to conceive, there were many ways that he could help. There are hormones, such as progesterone, that can help start your cycle again (usually only while you are taking them) and then it's very much like infertility treatment. I know at least 3 people who have been diagnosed and have gone on to conceive with help from their OB/GYN. If yours hasn't dealt with PCOS much, ask to be referred to a specialist. A reproductive endocrinologist is the route my friends took. Hope this helps, and best of luck finding the doc who can best help. Don't give up hope! cmpgirl:)
