Hello,
I'll try and keep this short. Problems started last November with Pleurisy, then I got a chest infection. In Dec started having knee pains when going up and down stairs. Then from mid Jan, I have had some knuckle and finger swelling, also on the balls of my toes....strange I know! I also feel extremely tired all the time, too tired for comfort.
Went to my GP a few times and he took bloods eventually. He didn't really want to discuss the results with me, but I did manage to get out of him that I had a positive Rhuematiod Factor. He wants me to wait and see before going any further because he reckons it might still be from my pleurisy infection.
I'm a bit afraid of an RA diagnosis, but at least if I knew what was what, I could start getting used to the idea.
Can I just ask, what exactly RA feels like. I feel like my joints are improving, but a bit swollen and painful, but not as bad as when it first started......does it go like that?
Thank you.
