lh ( lutinising hormone .. 24.4 (ref.. 2.4-13)

im waiting to see an endo, but im freaking out that im infertile.. i have autoimmune hypothyroid so i presume that's why these hormones are too high, but i have a long wait to see an endo and get some answers.

Ivygirl,

First of all, do not panic and you are not infertile, none of us, we just have infertility issues. ;) So sweetie, do not attach that label to yourself:angel::angel:

As for your questions, what cycle day were your labs drawn, because that can make a difference to your lab values, ie, they may be elevated midcycle or if you are taking any fertility meds. Any your age plays a factor too.

do not despair, it is much too early in the game for that and do not lose hope. There is a wealth of knowledge with IF and almost anything can be overcome with medication and procedures. Please do not give up!!!

I'm sorry that your dr was unsympathetic to you. We pay them a lot of money, they should show more compassion - especially about something as important as fertility. On the other hand, I'm glad to hear your previous tests were run on the wrong day (as crazy as that sounds)...it makes me confident the poor results were nothing to worry about. I hope you can at least feel better about that. When do you expect to get your results back from the most recent testing? I'm interested to hear how things turn out for you. Good luck!

Holly
