Well I went in for my day21 B/W this morning and was surprised when I called the nurse and she said my progesterone is 40 so I can start my synarel tonight, I'm only 4DPO so thought it would be a couple more days until I started, so glad I don't have to wait anymore (thanked my body for being co-operative). So if all goes well I should be starting stims in about 10-12days. I'm so excited to get started. Wishing everyone all the best. Sticky Babydust to all.

Cashahn -- awesome news!!! will be praying hard that this is the last anything you need to do and that you'll be holding your little bundle of joy in your arms in about 10 months time!!! :):)

BTW, that progesterone figure sounds really great!! -- you sure you're not already pregnant?? :)

Thank you everyone for your support and kind words it means so much to me to have you all to share this experience with and I will be sure to keep you all updated on my progress.

April Im so glad I have a cycle sister, its great to have someone to go through it with and hopefully we will both be celebrating our BFP's together.

Hazel LOL I wish I was pregnant already but I think my progesterone levells have always been good but hopefully I will be able to say Im pregnant very soon.

Well today is my second day on syranel and so far its not as bad as what I thought it would be, I was so anxious about taking the meds as my body is usually very sensitive but apart from feeling tired (which may be because DF kept me awake half the night with his snoring) I feel ok, definately better than I expected to feel anyway fingers crossed my body keeps behaving. Wishing everyone all the best.

Cashahn, so good to know that you're doing okay on the meds!! ... that sounds like a good start! :) what is the synarel supposed to do? (sorry for my ignorance)... and what would be your next steps in the cycle? :)

So excited to keep you company on this journey!!! remember when we used to be on the TTC board together?? ;) ... if I remember right, your egg Ret will be sometime about three weeks from now?... time will fly! - I promise! :) :) take good care of yourself in the next few weeks!!!!!

OMG yes Hazel of coarse I remember being on the TTC board together, you were probably the person I connected with the most in there, that seems like it was so long ago even though it was only last year we have come so far since then.
Syranel is like lupron but is administered by a nasal spray its to down regulate the cycle, I guess you can say it puts you into a mini menopause and it also prevents your body from releasing the eggs too early when you are taking the stims. Hopefully if all goes well I will have the E/R around the 24/03 so just over 3 weeks.
So happy to have you along for this journey, and Im hoping to hear some good news from you soon aswell. Here's to a room full of BFP's over the next couple of months.

interesting!* I was also wondering if the syranel is comparable to lupron! It does sound like it does the same thing. Well I'm glad that all is good so far (except for DH's snoring that is! :jester:)! Looking forward to future updates!

Yay, Cashahn... counting down to Mar 24 then :) meanwhile, will be waiting to hear each step that you take... :) nasal spray def sounds better than injections!!!...

... so (silly question coming up!!! - sorry!) what about af... you're 4 dpo, right?... so how does af come on?... do you stop the syranel at some point and let af along (similar to BCPs?)... wow, I am so ignorant... sorry...

Good luck with your cycle, its so exciting. And the time will pass by so fast, you will see, except for the 2ww, those are always 2 weeks too long :D
Wishing you all the best and a gigantic BFP in 1 month.

Hi Cashahn, glad to hear the Syranel isn't messing with you too much! A nasal spray sure sounds better than an injection...although I hear they taste horrible. I've been on my Lupron since Sunday and it seems to be going well. It itches like crazy after each injection and I always get a small welt but it goes away fairly quickly so I'm not too worried. Glad things are miving along well for you! - April

Thank you again for your support and well wishes, it means alot to me.
Mady you are so right the 2ww seems to be so long and sometimes feels like a 2 month wait.
Hazel I will get AF as normal and will continue to take synarel right up until I get the trigger shot which is I think the day before E/R.
April it can taste yuk when it goes down your throat but I try to have something to eat and its not so bad. How are you doing on lupron? Does it give you any side effects?
Wishing everyone all the best and sticky babydust.

Hi Cashahn

I am so glad that things are moving forward ....hoping and praying that this will be THE cycle for you and that we will be celebrating your BFP soon.

I can t imagine all the heart ache one goes through with IVF but believe me it will be so worth it when you hold your little one/s. HOLD ON.

HUGS

Chasahn, I'm glad you're able to find a way around the horrible taste! The Lupron is going well. Other than the small welts, I've only experienced a little pressure in my head. I don't even think I'd call them headaches as they come and go so frequently. If it stays this way I think I can handle it!

Stay strong...I'm hoping this is the cycle for both of us! - April
