I never did get the spinal. The neuro sat with me, did a ton of non invasive testing (walking on toes/heels/one foot in front of the other), reflex tests, sensitivity tests (detecting cold and warm). He checked lymph nodes, checked eyes, a whole bunch of things.

The MRI results that I got back, he said are very commonly seen on migraine flare ups. I am a lifetime migraine sufferer. He told me, you're incredibly healthy. I am still going for blood work and such, but I am relieved to hear he does not believe this to be MS at this time. I do have neck and torso issues he wants to further investigate to rule out other things before doing a spinal, so I will be back in the big machine of clinketty clank shortly for more testing.

He prescribed a migraine medication to see if it helps relieve symptoms. Half my symptoms are slowly improving due to diet change and probiotics/oil of oregano daily, including the burning mouth which is all but gone now. Thank goodness!

MS has not been completely ruled out, but for the moment is least suspected. I appreciate the support you folks have provided to this point. :)

Great news Nenu! I also spoke to my neuro about migranes today...he prescribed a nasal spray for me which is supposed to nip them in the bud. Thank goodness, i dont think i could stand another night of crying my eyes out curled up in a ball migranes! im new to them, and not liking them...what are you taking for your migranes? Curious..
ANyway, great news that they arent thinking MS at this time...keeep us posted.

Well, they are going to go ahead with the lumbar tomorrow. So it is going to happen after all. I guess might as well go with it for now right? I'd rather just go with the further MRI first, but if I can get in to get the lumbar now, better than wasting time I guess.

He was in agreement with me about the Candida suspicion, and was impressed I was able to figure this out myself and begin treatment myself for this. I am feeling a lot better in some aspects self treating this mess. :)
