Hi everyone,
I got the results in on my MRI that I had done Monday. All negative again for multiple sclerosis. I had one done on a weaker magnet back in July last year and my MS specialist was questioning what the radiologist referred to as an artifact on my previous mri. I had the dye and everything looks good! Which is good news but still doesn't rule out ms according to my specialist. I'm going to the neuroophthamologist tomorrow for some EVP testing so we'll'see what they have to say. This should be good news but it doesn't feel like it when you don't have any answers.

Tara, between this statement and the vitamin D3 recommendation, it sounds like this neurologist is one heck of a keeper!

I'm sorry that I don't recall your eye trouble...what kind of problems have you been having?

Beary-

I haven't had any eye trouble, thats why I'm surprized she's sending me to a neuroophthamology center. Anyways, I just got back for worcestor for those tests and let me tell ya, ouch! They were so much more painful than my emg/ncv test I had with the neurologist. The electrical stimulus on my legs wasn't bad, but putting all of the equipment on me hurt alot~! The tech scrubbed each area extremely hard before applying any electrodes. I couldn't believe that it would be more painful than the emg but it was. The evp eye test wasn't bad, but the evp somatosensory test or whatever its called was the worst. I felt like I was in the movie the matrix with all these plugs coming out of me!! I feel she is good as well, but I've had alot of good docs that just can't seem to pinpoint what is wrong!! I had an excellent rheumotogist, plain neuro, and immunologist but I am still left with no real answer. So we'll see. I am supposed to see the ms specialist again next thursday if all my test get back in time. I struggling to get a CT of my chest done to rule out sarcoidosis because my insurance company denied the claim or whatever. So they made me get a plain chest x-ray today first, and their going to resubmit the claim.
