View Full Version : Red bumps on lips?

I have a spot on my upper lip that is really dry, it doesn't hurt, but when I taste it with my tongue it tastes like a wound. Every morning I wake up and it's scabbed over and peeling. (this has been happening on and off for the last few months...)

The other day I noticed there are little red bumps on my upper and lower lips, not all over but in little bunches on only one spot.

Anyway, I just wanted to know what it was or if I should go to the doc's about it.

I don't think it's herpes.. it doesn't hurt, either is it sore-like. Plus, I've only been with one man and he's been tested since we've been together.

I've always used chapstick very regularly, so I don't understand how it could feel so dry, or where the red bumps came from.
Any help is appreciated :)

My lips are now all swollen (not noticably, but I can feel it), and have turned a light pink with dark red dots all over.

No one has any comments? This is stressing me out...
