My daughter Is almost two. She got a few mosquito bites in late July when we went camping. A few of the bumps stayed raised till mid Oct. They were never open wounds and never looked infected. The bumps are now gone but you can still see white spots were they used to be. I am concerned because that seems way to long for a mosquito bite to last. Is it normal or should I be concerned.

I took my 23 month old to the ER on Sunday at 9pm for a 104 fever under her arm. She had a slight cough and a runny nose. The doc said she had a slight ear infection. They gave her a chest X-ray to be safe and said it looked fine. The doctor prescribed Bacatrim for her ear and we went home. Her cough got a lot worse the next two days. On Tuesday the Hospital called me and said that looking at her X-ray more she had a spot of pneumonia on her left lower lobe and to call her Doctor to see what he wanted to do. Her doctor got her in Tuesday(yesterday). He said the antibiotic they prescribed her was great for ear infections but does nothing for pneumonia. Gave her a shot prescribed more antibiotics and sent us on our way. HE NEVER EVEN LISTENED TO HER BREATHING. I'm concerned because when I took her to the ER, her breathing didn't sound bad. When I place my ear to her back now it sounds like she is breathing under water. I feel like the pneumonia obviously got worse since the X-ray that was taken two day before we took her to her doctor, who said the meds she was on did nothing for pneumonia and he still didn't even listen to her chest. She is still running a 103.7 fever and still sounds really bad. Should I seek a second opinion. or am I being an over paranoid parent?
