and told the worker my SSI should be coming through soon, she said I can probably get a year back pay. I didn't know about this but it sure would be a blessing.
Has anyone else gotten SSI and then back pay from the date of onset ?

I didn't do much research on SSI but everything I've read about it says YES you will be getting some sort of back pay. I don't know if it's based on the onset date or the date of filing. I'm sure the answer is somewhere on this board. Hope you are doing ok today. :angel:

did your letter say when they found you disabled?

thats what they are taking for my back pay, if i still qualify.
Mine is only from july 07, till march 08. cuz with the ssdi i will be getting its to much to get both.

Even though I have been disabled for a long time, I agreed to 3-07

then thats when youll get back pay from....
aleast thats how i understand it..

It is day 26 since the On The Record decision and counting.
I was told it could be up to 120 days before I hear anything.
