You should contact an insurance agent in your area to find out what policies you may be able to afford. An agent is paid by commission from the insurance company and his service should not cost you anything, but he/she should be familiar with any health insurance plans that may be less expensive. Just be sure that if the cost is low there is a reason for that, review any policy thoroughly so there are no surprises later on.
