Ok I had my Beta this morning and my # was 18. I have got another beta on Monday to see if the numbers are going up. This happened last cycle and it was a chemical pg, I hope this one turns out differently. I HPT this morning and it was neg so I went out and bought 3 more test I am going to test everyday till Monday if I get a positive line then I will know if the #'s are going up. I cannot believe I have to go through this again. :(. Why can't it just be simple? Once again I feel like I am half pg.

I am definatly not getting my hopes up. DH and I will only start getting excited once the numbers are sky high.

Charlene, I'm glad to hear you've got a positive...no matter how little. I do hope the outcome this cycle is different than your last. If I seem to remember correctly, your BETAs tend to be on the early side? I'll be hoping it's just a bit early in your cycle and this number grows quickly. Oh Charlene, it's such a shame we can't just get bfp's and be blissfully happy. IF really sucks. I'm so sorry you can't begin celebrating yet & that you have to worry yourself w/ the possibility of another chemical pg. On the other hand, I'm glad to hear your beta was positive. At least there is hope. I will be praying hard for you my friend that your numbers go sky high & you can start celebrating really soon. I really hope this is your sticky bfp. Hugs to you.

April yes i am still early in my cycle I am oly on cd25 and 11dpo. I am hoping that the numbers are going to sky rocket by Monday. It sound so nice when you say mom to be.....I really hope so.:)

Holly I must try and be more hopeful my beta is positive andI need to try and remenber that. I am just afraid that it will end up being another chemical pg.

I am going to try and relax as much as possible this weekend and talk to my beanie and tell him or her to grow nicely for mommy......some people might think I am nuts.

It is still very early, do you always test this early? I have been thinking about you all morning and hoping for great news. I am still holding my breath that I will have good news to share, hopefully we can share it together. Try and make it through the weekend without pulling your hair out. That is so nerve racking!

Oh Charlene, I feel for you my friend, and my heart goes out to you. It's really not fair that after a struggle to get pregnant there are immediate additional challenges and worries. I know what it's like to play the #'s game and it's really draining. But there is hope... good reason to be hopeful in fact!!!! It is so early for you.... I will keep praying very hard and look forward to hearing that your # skyrockets. You deserve it friend. My fingers are tightly crossed.

Girls thank you so much for the words of encuragement I really need them right now. I hope all your positive vibes and prayers work. The only thng that I am holding onto is the fact that it is still very early. I do not understand why my gyn orders the Beta for cd 25. Does anyone elses do that? I feel it is really early seeing as I only O'ed on cd 15 this cycle. I am not giving up hope yet, but I do know that it is going to be a very long weekend for me.

I love you girls so much and without you all I am not sure I would be as strong as I am now. Thank you.

No, that is very early for a beta in my opinion. My gyn usually does beta on cd27 at the very earliest. He says that the one to see if ther's anything happening, but they don't genenrally 'count' it. Like they use that one to see if there is any chance for a strong positive in there, and the next one they take about 3 days later or so to see if it doubled or more. And then they take it from there.

I'm sure that the BBQ will help pass time this weekend. I will be thinking of you very much this weekend Char. Keep talking to that beanie!!!!

Hey sweetie first off congrats and second it is still only 11 dpo and since you bd'ed and dident do IUI who really knows exactly when your follie was released.I think you have a good chance that this will be a fine pregnancy my friend.So I will be praying those #'s keep rising.Have a good time with your friends at your bbq get your mind off things and just enjoy yourself.Take it easy my friend and have a wonderful weekend.

Hi Charlene,
Try not to worry too much (easier said than done I know!) but your beta was so early, and I think even the most sensitive hpts only pick up HCG at 25. I think a lot of them are 100. Sometimes inplantation doesn't occur until day 12 dpo, or even later. My clinic told me to test on day 16 after ET, so the embryos would have been 18 days old! Will join in with the prayers honey, and really hope the weekend goes quickly for you and that you'll be reporting sky high numbers before you know it.

I agree, 11 dpo is so early. My RE's office won't even consider testing until 14 dpo, so your numbers could likely just still be in the starting out stage. I totally understand, though, your being worried - but I hope that your numbers have really jumped on Monday. I will be thinking of you all weekend. Try the best you can to relax, and we are all thinking of you!!!

Oh Char I hope this is it for you, 11DPO is so early and maybe your little beanie had only just implanted therefore only just started producing the hormone. Im praying that your numbers multiply and you get a sticky BFP. All the best.

Thanks for all the reassurance and I agree that it was very early to test. I did a HPT this morning, the line was faint but it was there, yesterday there was not lines so I am taking it as a good sign that the numbers are going up. The test I used picks up for between 22 and 50. I will test again tomorrow and hope that the line is darker.

I luckily have a busy weekend friends from South Africa are staying with us this evening. The one guy I have not seen since I left London in 2001 and shared a house with him so it should be fun going down memory lane. At least I am keeping busy till Monday. I also worked this morning and slept this afternoon so at least I have kept busy.

Yay Charlene! I was thinking yesterday that if you tested today on a sensitive test you should get a line if the numbers were going up! I'm so glad things seem to be working out! I'll be hoping the line is darker tomorrow and you'll get a great number on Monday.

I HPT today again and the second line is still there. I am hoping that my numbers are going up nicely. The line is still light so I am a little worried that the numbers are not rising quick enough, as long as they are doubling right? I have slight cramping, I hope it is not AF wanting to show. Not much longer to wait till Beta...14 hours. We have had a busy weekend which was great to keep my mind off everything for a bit. I am trying not to over analyse everything but it is so difficult.
