Who should take persantine, and why? I just found out that it should only be used for patients having valve replacement surgery.I read that it is useless, and an 81 mg. of coated asperin will do just as well. I have been taking 3 per day of 75mg. plus an asperin and my doctor never said a thing to me about what I just learned.I started it 15 years ago after angioplasty. I am confused as to what to do,I have reduced myself to one a day, but I don't know if that is harmful or not.Appreciate any replies on this. Thanks,
