How long is the recuperation time for cystocele operation with uterus removal as well?

I had my (TVH) Transvaginal hyst/bladder sling 10 years ago, and was told lift nothing heavier than a gallon of milk for 6 weeks.
One thing you have to remember is a Hysterectomy is MAJOR SURGERY which is what my GYN told me, so you need to be kind to your self. You only have one chance for a good recovery.
Do you know what method of repair they are using for the cystocele?

tHANKS FOR YOUR REPLY.I WILL BE HAVING IT DONE VAGINALLY AND HAVE SINCE LEARNED THERE IS A 6 TO 8 WEEK RECOVERY PERIOD. MY HUSBAND IS GOING TO TAKE CARE OF ME DURING MY RECOVERY SO I AM FORTUNATE.
