Hi - I am 33 Female. I have RA. I had Subtalar Fusion in April 2006. I have confirmed with Foot Doctor that the x-ray shows my ankle fused.
I am on Enbrel and Prednisone(not full time). I had to stop taking methotrexate. I was getting very sick, even with several meds.
I am now 1 year and 10 months post op, and I am starting to have a lot of pain in my foot. I am actually back in a foot brace. When I walk it feels like my joints are on fire, and are going to break. To put my foot straight and walk is very painfull. I am going to th gym, but I am not doing any workout that will effect my feet. The joint in my left foot is also starting to swell at times.
Is anyone going through this same situation. I just do not know what else to do for the pain in my feet. I have tried different shoes, and meds.
Has anyoine went for pain managment for RA in feet?
Any advice would be helpfull!!

Thank s - Lost and in PAIN!!!
