I am 42 and have had PVC's on and off for 20 years.
With the last couple of years being the worst. As many as ten skips plus per minute. Here is how i got rid of them. (1) COMPLETELY STOPED ALL CAFFEINE INTAKE. I CAN NOT OVER STATE THIS! (2) STARTED TO EXERCISE EVERY OTHER DAY BY JOGGING UP TO 1 AND 1/2 MILES. (3) Stopped over eating and drinking this only made the skips worse. With in 2 weeks the skips stopped and I have felt great ever since. If I do feel a skip it is maby once a week and I can live with that. Hope this helps.

I'm glad i read your post. I've been dealing with the skipped beats and flutters for about 10 years. I recently started exercising (30 minutes of aerobics/strenth training in the morning and walking on my treadmill 1 mile in the evenings). I noticed that the skips/flutters seem alot less noticable now that i've started exercising. I'm also on Toprol XL 75mg once daily (have been on this for a little more than a year). Do you know exactly what part exercise plays of the skips/flutters that we experience? I noticed it right away after i started my exercise program but was too paranoid to say anything to anyone for fear this would jinx my feeling better..hahaha..how silly is that?.haha...I would encourage anyone dealing with this problem to start a non-strenous exercise program and see if it helps.....Good luck to you and I hope you continue to feel better :-)

I had them fairly serious to the point where I would be driving then start feeling light headed and dizzy... the doc put me on Toprol XL... I quit taking it because I didn't want to be one of the living dead. I drink only 1 soda a day, drink about 10 to 15 glasses of water a day and exercise (setups and pushups) every other day. I have had no problems at all for over 2 months.
