It seems just in the last month that my face is red and burns when I wash it. I live in cold weather in Buffalo. I never had that problem before. I changed face soap. Is there a face soap that is gentle for my complexion. I'm 68 yrs old and always took pride how smooth and wrinkle free it is . Any suggestions? Sally

The redness may be due to eigther a lack of hormons in the face or an alergic reaction to somthing see a doctor asap.

Have you consulted with a physician about Rosacea? It's just possible that you have it. I have fought this red face thing for years and it is definitely a condition called Rosacea that triggers it. Good Luck in finding a cure...I'm still looking.

Our skin gets very sensitive as we age.Commercially processed soaps are really detergent, not soap , and can be very irritating. Get it diagnosed.Try using handmade soaps which can be found on the internet and natural food stores.
