I was just recently diagnosed with genital herpes. This is my first outbreak (that I know of) and it is pretty bad. Four days into the outbreak I started my period. Will this make my healing time longer because I can't keep the area dry?

i went through the same thing, i actually was diagnosed 2 days into my period. i had to go because of how much pain i was in. have you gone to your dr? messtration and all valtrex is what saved me. it' more painfull because you have to wear a pad and it rubs against it. try to take a couple of days off and rest. im sorry i dont have very good advise but i want you to know that your not alone!!!!
