Hi

History

for the past ten years suffering from muscle spasms, nerve pain, twitching, fire like burning, all kinds of electrial pai, stabbing pain.

in 2003 after flu shot it got much much worse.
I see a neuromuscular doc ho hasnt figured it out yet.

had all testing but normal

last night i cutmy finger in the kitchn and needed 10 stitches. the er wants to give me tatnus shot. i said no cause what if i have worseing of falre up i have now.

i already suffer from face and jaw and throat spasms.

should i get the shot...i am so worried/

does anyone here get spasms and nerve/stabbing pain in throat and vocal chords.

Look up the word Dystonia, there are several types of dystonia. Dystonia means severe and uncontrollable muscle spasms. There are different types of Dystonia and some do effect the throat area as well as face. I suffer from Cervical Dystonia which is severe muscles spasms of the neck. Try checking this out and see if any of your symptoms match up.

Unless the knife you were using was covered in rust or horse manure, NO, you do not need a tetanus shot!
