I don't know but if I were you I'd ask my doctor because they can tell you exactly what you want to know.

I assume you mean "without scarring", not with.

A small mole can easily be surgically removed with minimal scarring. There is also a procedure where you can "burn" the mole off, but I don't know much about it.

I had a big mole on my chin cauterized i:e 'burned of'

it left a scar , that has now become so undistinguishable, i cant even tell its there any more...it worked out well for me, but some people get a worse scar.

it depends on your general health and how your body heals itself i was told.

If you scar easily (I do) there are a lot of scar-reducing products in drugstores, like Band Aid scar strips and ScarGuard. They're not terribly cheap, and they don't work quickly, but they work! Use something with cortisone added. You can also have a dermatologist give you a cortisone shot when he/she removes the mole; it's worked for me in the past.

Don't mess with Mederma - it does not work. I've tried it.

Apple cider vinegar removes moles. I have read a lot about this and I plan on starting it tomorrow. Soak a cottom ball in it and apply it to the area and band-aid it on.

I have a mole on my face, its not big and it doesn't look bad but i really dislike it. i spoke to a doctor and he suggested talking to a skin specialist or a plastic surgeon, but as i have never had stitches or surgery of any kind i really don't won't to have it surgically removed, mainly because it scares the crap out of me, and i'm very worried about scarring.

does the apple cider vinegar completely get rid of the mole or does it just fade away the colour?

You can do some searched on apple cider and moles. I have had them cut off with a scalpel in the past. Two of them came back and the one that bothers in is borderline on the jaw/face. The apple cider vinegar works for quite a few people, but not for all. I read a bunch of blogs and it worked for the majority of those who tried it. This will be my third night. I have been soaking a cottom ball with the apple cider and putting it under a band-aid on two different moles. They are both dark in color and large, the size of a pencil eraser. Today I noticed some itching around the area, but I can keep you updated this week and see what happens.

I've had 3 moles removed from my face via the scraping method done by a dermatologist. You can't tell where they were. Beautiful job on all 3.

that would be great! so when you band-aid the cotton ball on the moles, how long do you leave them for?
You know the itching may be coming from the band-aids to?

look forward to hearing more from you! ;)

i've actually never heard of the scraping method... what's involved with that and is it expensive to have done?
