OK, I know this is going to sound kinda nasty and I apologize in advance for what I am about to explain... this morning, when I went to the bathroom to urinate, I had the urge to expell some gas, which I did. When I was done, I had a brown mucous on the TP. That was all. It freaked me out because I'm not sure why I would be having this type of discharge from my rectum. Also, I am both an IBS C and D type person, it shifts from one to the other. I have not had any straining over the past few days, nor have I had any diahhrea. Has this happened to anyone else, and should I talk to my doctor about it?

That's sounds normal for IBS people. I get that every now and then. Or and this is also TMI...mucous wrapped around my stools...when I can actually have a any.
