Sponsor ozzybug 03-05-2008, 03:27 PM Norco is the same thing as Vicodin, but with less tylenol. Hope it helps you!! :)
shannonjord08 03-05-2008, 03:30 PM So, why did he basically give me the same thing? If the vicodin doesn't help with the pain, how is this Norco going to be any better?
gorgee 03-05-2008, 03:35 PM I think you are going to have to find out what the dosage is, when you pick it up at the pharmacy. The norco might be 10mg, and your vicoden might be 5/500. What dosage were you on of vicoden? I hope the switch helps. Good luck, and let us know how you are doing.

shannonjord08 03-05-2008, 03:38 PM I think the Vicodin is 5mg. When I called the pharmacy about the new med, I think she said that it was 10/? of Norco. Will that make a big difference in releiving pain?
ozzybug 03-05-2008, 03:48 PM If the vicodin was 5mg, and the Norco is 10mg, then he doubled the dose. It should help more than the 5mg.
