i saw my dr yesterday and its too early to tell if the surgery worked. i posted on "2 new surgeries", but no responses so i will try a new thread. i have to wear mini frankenstein surgical shoes for 3 more weeks. i cant drie until next week, but i did go to pt today(a friend took me). my right foot hurts quite a bit. that was the 1st surgery on that foot. the pt went great. my left foot which had the fusion and hammertoe was not as good. it looks better, but he 2nd toe was not very flexible. this was my new dr and what an incredible job he did. i cant understand why there would be no flexibility in the 2nd toes just because the boines were shortend. i am asking anyone with pt experiences if they would tell me what to expect and to make sure they are not making it worse. i am much happier now that i saw my dr and i hope i can stay that way. i do not see my dr for another 3 weeks and i have exercises to do at home. my dr did say that if pt is done wrong it can cause major scar tissue. that is what happened to my left 2nd toe. any suggestions would help. thanks everyone
