Brief history I went to the er on 12/28/07 for kidney stone pain this is my 3rd one so far. Pain went away at er once givin pain meds left hostipal had some pain on and off for a week. Now 03/01/08 woke up in excureting pain took left over pain pills because i knew that is was a kidney stone again. Pain continuted till about 11:00 that night had the usual vomiting and nausea throughout the day. On 3/2/08 woke up felt okay went out for lunch came home started vomiting again had fever and chills slept for the rest of the day. On monday 03/3/08 still passing blood in urnie and having flank pain on left side stomache also feels bloated went to the er finally that night, dr did a ct scan turns out that i havent passed my stone from 12/28/07 and that it has grown to 6mm. Dr said that i will not be able to pass it on my own that is is trapped gave me pain pills and told me to call my urologist. So on tues i called the urologist said they cant see me till friday. My question and concern is that the pain is not so bad now cuz i have pain meds but i can only take them at night cuz i work in the daytime, but my bladder feels so full and my stomache is getting where it looks more and more bloated. I cant even get on my pants im whereing sweats because my stomache feels so swollen plus im having the slight back pain and at times intesnes flank pain. Could this stone be blocking my urine flow and causing my stomache to bloat i can still urninate but im not going as often and sometimes it feels like i have to go so bad but only get a few drops come out. im still havin the nausea so im not really eating but i am pushing the water big time which is a problem cuz i was already a big water drinker. Any comments would be helpful.
