Hi everyone.
I'm 20 years old and recently went back to college. I got a two-year degree and then took a year off. The college I am going to now is tough (not a technical school, like where I got my associates). I find it very, very difficult to do homework. Reading books is almost out of the question because at the end of the first sentence I've already begun thinking about something completely irrelevant to the book. I never really tried in high school so I can't say I've ever been much of a scholar. But, this is college and I'm trying real hard to do well.
I'm having a hard time at work, too. (I'm a mechanic), if I'm doing a job I keep darting from one thing to another, and sometimes I forget stuff and that's obviously not a good thing.
Do you think I should get tested? So I have some symptoms? I was recently put back on Wellbutrin for stress, and it helps a bit. But I need more.

Yes, get tested. You got all the symptoms. See a shrink. Look in the phone book, hard copy or online, and find a shrink that claims to have ADHD experience.
The right meds can mean you become a college grad, and the wrong or no meds, you fail at everything for the rest of your life.
Your choice. Decide.
