I'm new here. Scared out of my mind currently over the irregularity of my heart. I was diagnosed with PVC's occuring in a bigeminal fashion at 17 (I'm now 41 - soon 42 on Friday)....at 17 had multiple EKG's, an Echo and Holter Monitor. About 15 years ago had a second holter - same PVC's bigeminal. Just had a holter done last month and my GP referred me to a cardiologist for consult. Met with the Cardio guy Monday and he had my holter report but not the strips and he wanted to review the strips. The shocking thing was the report - it showed 1,206 pauses and 2,488 premature supraventricular beats in 24 hours! The pauses were all less than 2.5 seconds.....but, still they were pauses and I'm freaking out!!! I only had 4 premature ventricular beats. Has anyone ever had this? Any advice? I go for an Echo next Wed. I also just found out that I am 6 weeks pregnant (unexpected-I didn't think my old eggs could conceive).....I'm just an emotional basketcase right now!
