I am disabled from constipation, horrible bloating and what the GI doc calls
hypersensivity of the gut. This means I have no excess gas, but still have
bloating which is associated with gas. can barely walk around my home unless it right after a bm. This started 25 years ago and is w/me 100% of the time. After eating I am in so much pain from nerve sentivitry and bloating I have to immediately force a bm out of me with milk of magnesia or other laxatives. Everything has been tried including gi docs, accupunture, psychologist, colonics etc. Negative tests for gluten thru intestinal biopsy,
but postive test from another doc thru stool samples. diet hasn't worked at all. does anyone have these symptoms or any comments? :(

I have alot in common with you. I am disabled too from these symptoms. Mostly from diarreah and very severe bloating. Some of your symptoms are a little stronger than mine ... I thought I had the worst in the whole world. I need to lose weight because of a large stomach, but I can't exercise with all this bloating. Believe it or not 3 years ago I was perfectly fine. This whole IBS thing came on just overnight. One day I was fine, and the next I wasn't. If you know of any medicines that will make the bloating go away, let me know. I am also on a med that controls the diarreah ... because I was having it everyday ....
