Hi,
I am not yet diagnosed with ms, but am pretty close to a diagnosis and I see a regular neuro who referred me to an neurologist that specializes in ms. I have to go back to see my regular neuro for a follow up after the MS clinic finds out whats wrong with me. I think alot of people see both because they are usually first referred to a regular neurologist when experiencing symtoms and the neuros usually refer patients to the MS clinics for further evaluation and or treatments.

A neurologist who specializes in MS. (Actually MS, ALS, and neurological disease). I go to the MS Clinic run by the state medical university. In Montana, you might do the same???:angel::angel:

In my case, way too many finding my answer. I had an ENT finally order an MRI, who then referred the findings to a neurologist who specializes in MS. The neurologist completed the spinal tap/lumbar puncture, blood work and got me on steroids to help bring down the inflammation. He gave me the diagnosis after his research and findings.

My neurologist will now work with a family doctor through my treatment. Best of luck hun. :)
