I hope this will give some of you hope. I'm a chronic pain patient with failed back surgery syndrome. I know of the helpless, hopeless feelings we have some time. Only someone going through what we do can understand. I wanted to share with you that I got my letter telling me after 21 months I have been approved for social security disability.
Keep you faith and don't give up. Just this past monday was my worst day of hopelessness and today look what happened. Thank God.

Hello Randy and all, I have a appointment for in the morning to apply.I have a Archnoid Cyst in my spine and i have not been able to work in the past 3 years.I don't have health insurance to have my surgery to have it removed.I know its gonna be a long process !! I dread it too.

Congratulations. It does give me hope. I filed a year ago. I'm in the reconsideration phase. Although I have Failed back surgery, I've never actually been diagnosed with it. I've been going for the shots etc. They don't even have any of those notes. I have to call the lawyer with an update. Again, congratulations.

Congratulations,:D, I too suffer from failed back surgery and have also applied for ssid I am now in the reconsideration phase. I was diagnosed with lumbar disc disorder with myelopathy, sciatic nerve lesion, chronic pain due to trauma. I don't know what to exactly put on the area that says how it affects me on a daily basis. because I heard they don't want to hear about how your in pain:mad: maybe you could give me some hints on how to win.
