hi, recently i contracted the virus from a girl i was dating who never told me she had it, i have wondered myself about sex again, its pretty depressing, but from what ive resurched you can have sex again, you just need to protect your partner and use a condom, and abstain when having an outbreak, one can even have unprotected sex if one is taking antiviral medication. It's a tough one to take but one must keep hope alive. Best of luck-D
