Hi everyone, new here. I suffer from GERD and am now on Protonix and Zegerid. I can also take zantac as needed, thankfully with the Zegerid taking effect, I can quit swallowing all that money on zantac. Anyhoo, since starting the Zegerid, I've notice an obvious decrease in my refluxing, but now I burp almost constantly. Have way more gas too. Is this normal for these meds? Is burping considered part of GERD? Any help would be great.

I am on zegerid and burp all the time also..not sure if its the meds or the reflux...
