i had an aortic valve replacement last april. i'm about to have it taken out and a porcine valve put in. taking the coumadin is threatening my life. this is something for everyone to consider. i bleed to easily and have anemia. from the transfusions to fix this part, i've conracted hep c. sounds like a bad soap opera doesn't it? we're hoping stopping the coumadin will fix the anemia to a certain extent and i can concentrate on the hep c. any ideas?
