I've been experiencing unusual symptoms for 50 days now, and wondering if this is a possible herpes experience. The local clinic says no and has referred me to a urologist but the appt. is weeks away and I'm desperate for some relief and piece of mind.

It feels like an aching, burning, or tingling in, on, around my penis. It comes and goes and moves around all day long. It is not very painful, but can approach being that way. It seems to be moving toward my anus sometimes. It is not any more painful to urinate.

My girlfriend has genital hsv (not sure if its 1 or 2), and I assume this is whats caused my problem. But never any outbreaks for me, just this nagging pain.

I'm curious about UTI infections, prostate inf., condom allergies, anything else?

Has anyone ever had these symptoms? I've found some old posts that describe similar things, but they were not updated to describe whether they were cured or not.
