I recently noticed 2 of my fingernails (on different hands) have become flat and are curling downward. Is this a vitamin deficiency or a symptom of an underlying illness? Is there anything I can do to stop this? Thank you.

Any sudden change in the nail plate is cause for concern - you should make an appointment with your doctor or dermatologist.
