Last night I started having a pain in my vagina. More on the left side, somewhat on the bone, but its not the bone that is in pain. It is off and on.

I also have had about 4 twinges of pain on the left lower abdomen area.

I have had kidney stones 3 times, but I am 25 now, and the last time was when I was 18. Could my body be warning me that I am about to have a kidney stone attack? I work from home and I am sitting here working with pain down there....please help with opinions, thanks!

I know this is a late reply but for anyone else that reads.

I had vagina pain on just the left side when I had my last kidney stone. I think it was because the stone was passing through my left ureter. We only have one urethra and I thought the pain was coming from there but I read that you can often have genital pain when you're passing a stone.

It's horrible. People with chronic kidney stones should get iv drips of pain meds.
Although....
I usually take 1000-1600 mgs of motrin when I have a kidney stone. That's the only thing that will relieve the pain. Then I take an ambien and crash.

I've tried vicodin and other narcotics and they don't touch the pain.

Good luck.

Since recently passing a 6mm stone I have a little experience. It took me 3 weeks of pain to pass this monster. I started out feeling a little pain next to my belly button, then the pain was down low on my right side. The last week I had terrible spasms, like I was going to give birth. Now I found out that the spasms are your body's way of trying to expel the stone. I drank so much water and tried to wait to go to the bathroom. It was hard to do, since i had the feeling to go every 30 minutes. But I drank about 3 8oz. glasses and then went. On the third try I expelled the stone. I am no Dr. but I think you are going to pass a stone. Drink, drink , drink, lots of water. Hope it goes OK for you.
