Hello,
I've read many other postings and have found that some of you have the same synthoms as my daughter, so I figured I'd place this post and ask your opinion.

Brianna is almost 8 yrs old. For about two years she has been complaining that her heart hurts and that it beats fast. This happens mostly when she is eating or running around. She does not drink soda, eat chocolate or any other form of caffeine. She had an EKG done, a heart ultrasound, and wore a monitor for then days in which we had to record her heart activity while having pain, she wore this for 10 days. The cardiologist says that her heart is normal. She then had an Xray taken and some bloodwork to test her thyroid...again, all is showing normal. A couple of days ago I had to take her in to the ER because the pain was very strong. By the time the Dr. saw her, the pain was gone, so the heart rate was normal and they discharged her with "palpitations". It's like a contraction in the heart, short and sharp pains, and at the same time her heart pumps real fast.

I get the feeling that doctors think she is making this up and exagerrating her pain. I don't know what to do, but I want to help my litte girl.

Any advice?

Thanks,

Diana
