Hi, I have been having these chest pains for about 1 month. I recently visited the doctor, who said it was just from me slouching. Is this possible? Or is it something to do with my heart. I had an x-ray and nothing came up, so I assume it's not my heart. It's everytime I take a deep breath(sore, tight) and when I am just sitting, I get a burning feeling. Help me please.

I started taking Xantrex for weight loss and I went off of it because one night I had the same exact symptoms you are describing. Whenever I took a deep breath, my chest felt tight and a slight ache in my chest where my heart is. I also had the same thing happen to me when I was taking Metabolife 356. I don't know if either had anything to do with my situation but it seemed weird how it only happened after I had been on either or. Strange.

This sounds more like acid reflux. I won't ask you, but ask yourself if you have a little extra weight around the abdominal area. If you do, when you sit down this can cause stomach acid to enter your esophogus. This can cause burning, pain, and also pressure around the chest area. It can even happen when you have a flat stomach, but is less likely.- gle
