I'm wondering if I may have gotten the virus in my mouth as well. I was bushing my teeth the other day, and I just happened to notice a white spot on the inside corner of my mouth. I went to examine and found several white spots surrounding a actually bump but the bump was just regular color. None of it hurts or anything, and I looked on the other inside corner of my mouth and saw the same. No where else in my mouth do I see this. I know I should go back to the doctor, but I'm curious in the mean time. Wouldn't it be painful? Anytime I get a genital outbreak it hurts like heck!

a few months ago I noticed pain in the back of my tongue and I had no idea what it was, so one day I decided to look in my mouth and there were these bumps at the very back of my tongue and the white coated like rings, the doctor said it was herpes, this has been a bad dose for me to swallow, it so scary, and like you said, it doesn't bother to eat, but it hurts like heck, I just started taking the acyclovir and I hope it helps, my life in not the same since I've had HPV, I find it so hard to cope with sometimes. I suggest you follow up with your doctor, to make sure it's nothing else.

Good luck
