I had a cath three weeks ago and received a stent in my RAC. I was put on Plavix, Prilosec, Metoprolol. I felt much better went I returned home, but I had heartburn when I walked any distance. I met with my cardiologist who changed my meds to Plavix, Prevacid, and Bystolic. He thought the Prevacid would control my heartburn. I still had the heartburn with exercise, and after starting these new meds I developed a weakness in my left arm. No pain at all. It just feels like I have been carrying too much firewood. I checked my BP in both arms and the BP is almost the same. My original symptoms did not include any pain anywhere except my chest which actually felt like severe heartburn.
