hey ill share my problem. for about 10 yrs on & off i had this problem.

Ill be sitting normal & my heartbeat would be like beep, beep, beep, beep then BEEP, then back to beep, beep etc. Your heartbeat would be normal as can be & then all of a sudden the next beat is extremly fast & hard as if you were running for a while then the beat after that its back to normal.

I been to doctors & had an ekg done at the docters office. They tell me its nothing to worry about & having it for 10 yrs im starting to believe them. However it still scares the crap out of me.

Now is this my heart just skipping a beat or from a heart murmur[ i got one]. Anybody

Last thing i could go 5 months without getting any of these & then the next month ill have them all month etc. opinions

Hi,

What your describing sounds like what I have. I was diagnosed with PVC's (premature ventriculer contrations). Which simply means durring one beat your heart dose not fill completly with blood and makes up for it on the next beat by beating more forcefully. I was diagnosed with this in April after being scared sensless for about two weeks and feeling it three to four times per day. I also found out I was pregnant and hormones may play a roll in mine. They are also brought on by stress, cafien, alcohol,as well as other things. They are scary but, completly harmless. Also through my research I'v learned that everyone has them sometimes but, not everyone feels them. I hope this helps.

yea,i had them most of my life so i guess after seeing docters etc that if it was serious something would of happen by now.

i really do think mine comes from stress & caffeine[sp]. Example,im on a diet just drinking gatorade & one day i drank like 4 dr peppers & at night my heart does this for about an hour on & off. Then i was fine. It just seems it can get real bad & then disappear for a while.
