last week and a half i've had an itching/irritation. almost feels like i constantly have to go to the toilet and wipe.

any speculations/suggestions?

Do you have any lumps around your anus? As it could be external piles which can cause itching and general discomfort.

Also have you been wiping continously because that will not help it either.

no, and yes i have been.

Buy some baby wipes and use them if you have to continously wipe. The rectum can become quite uncomfortable with continous wiping. At the moment I am going to the toilet quite frequently and my anus is rather sore because of how much i have been wiping.

For me its more to do with the poor qaulity toilet paper than anything else.

sorry, should have mentioned that i'm already using cotonelle wipes for it. not helping
