I am only 27yrs old and took a pre employment blood test and had the results come back as high enzymes/ high liver platelets? Not certain if these are the same things? Anyways I immediatly went in for another test and it came back the same. I do take pain killers on occasion and drink a couple beers a week with an occasional binder time to time. Not sure if this alone would cause this? Family has a history of anemia and west nile virus, not sure if this could have an affect? I also eat lots of sweets , especially after a meal and seem to be thirsty often? From the info i've gathered perhaps i should be tested for diabetes which may be the cause of high enzymes? Is this true? Also from the intel i've gathered having had surgury may cause this result? have had hand surgury about a year ago and jaw operation about three months ago, not sure if this may still have some affect? I have no abdominal pain, urine looks ok, stool seems to be good
